Introduction:

The modern world has been destroyed by modern people with their own hands. Outwardly, they appear progressive and successful—but inwardly, they are burning in their own man-made hells. I believe there are clear reasons why modern people suffer and I want to explore those reasons one by one—not only for my own understanding but also to help those around me see more clearly.

Global Sexual Revolution?

The Sexual Revolution—also known as the Sexual Liberation Movement—refers to the loosening of traditional restrictions on sex, relationships and gender roles, particularly between the 1960s and 1980s in Western societies, mainly the United States and Europe. It marked a cultural shift in attitudes toward sexuality, promoting:

👉Contraception and birth control
👉Pornography
👉Open relationships
👉Homosexual rights
👉Abortion rights
👉 Feminist sexual autonomy

Key Drivers of the Revolution

Several figures, inventions and movements played a critical role in fuelling the revolution:

1. Sigmund Freud

👉 Made sexuality a subject of open discussion, arguing that repression of sexual desires leads to psychological harm.

2. Alfred Kinsey

👉 Published ''Sexual Behaviour in the Human Male'' (1948) and ''Sexual Behaviour in the Human Female'' (1953)
👉 His research challenged traditional morality, revealing that many people engaged in behaviours considered taboo

3. The Birth Control Pill (1960)

👉 The invention of oral contraceptives gave women unprecedented control over reproduction
👉 This helped decouple sex from childbirth, leading to greater sexual freedom

4. Second-Wave Feminist Movement (1960s–1980s)

👉 Argued that sexual freedom was essential to women’s liberation

👉 Advocated for reproductive rights, bodily autonomy and equality in relationships.
