Raise your voice to save your Future

Raise your voice to save your Future

Not even ten per cent of parents are truly happy with the behaviour of their wards.

Our education system is collapsing because of the following #reasons:

– Kindergarten children are entertained with songs and dance and their impressionable age is harmed by undesirable exposure.

– No student is failed up to Class 10.

– No teacher or principal is allowed to advise a student regarding improper dress, behaviour or negligence of studies.

Question papers of competitive examinations are leaked before the scheduled date and seats in most medical and engineering colleges are either bought or allotted to favourites.

Students are indulging in adult activities under the very nose of helpless teachers and parents.

School managements and their spoons are financially and emotionally exploiting the staff in every possible way. When a teacher arrives a few seconds late, her salary is deducted, yet the same teacher is forced to stay back after school hours or work from home in the evenings—a service that is neither appreciated nor compensated.

A teacher is harassed by the management, the principals, the HR personnel, the supervisors, arrogant parents and even vulgar students.

Responsible parents will soon say a big ''No'' to traditional schools and coaching centres and will choose home-schooling instead.

Private schools will eventually be run entirely by highly patient women who, after being emotionally exhausted, go to washrooms , shed a few tears and return to the classroom to continue their duties as usual.

No wonder modern schools produce alcoholics, drug users, suicidal youth, thieves, thugs and antisocial elements instead of obedient children and ideal citizens.

The remaining 95% must be covered through self-study at home or with the assistance of coaching centers. Unfortunately, not all students can afford the expenses of coaching centers. To address this gap, I have made a humble effort to guide students on what to study in order to succeed in national and state-level exams in English Literature. However, before I delve into the details, there are a few important points I would like to share. English literature is not just a subject; it is an ocean. Unlike other academic fields, it transcends mere study and ...
