On The Path of Peace And Happiness ?

On The Path of Peace And Happiness ?  (Sahil Sharifdin Bhat) ''On this planet, there are many things that can tempt you. You might desire different styles of homes or various models of cars. You might seek respect from your family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers. You may wish to be attractive and have a good job. Pleasing your parents, siblings, spouse, and children might be important to you. Traveling the world and providing the best education for your children could be on your mind. And naturally, you'd prefer not to worry about bills for electricity, water, internet, medical expenses, and so on. These desires can overwhelm your life and make it hard to find daily peace and restful sleep at night. But here's a different perspective: Instead of desperately pursuing every wish and want like a mad dog chasing cars, consider a new approach. Focus on three essential things: your health, knowledge, and wealth. By prioritizing these, other things and people will na

I Love Hussain as I was Taught by The Grandfather of Hussain

While loving Hazrat Hussain [RA] is an integral part of our iman , it is crucial to condemn the promotion of violence  in the name of Islam . As followers of the teachings laid down by our beloved Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), we must respect and honour our martyrs in accordance with his guidelines. It is essential to distinguish between genuine Islamic practices and mere personal desires falsely labeled as Islam. As a humble individual, nay , a big sinner, I am not a scholar, but I have read from Islamic books about how Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) profoundly honored his companions after they were martyred in the battlefields. Despite losing his uncle Hazret Hamzah [RA], his cous

It is likely that Al-Ghazali was named after his father's business, as "ghazzali" means "wool merchant." When his father passed away, Al-Ghazali and his brother were taken care of by a Sufi friend named Ahmad al-Radkhani, who promised to educate them. Al-Ghazali’s early education was challenging due to poor economic conditions. However, at the age of fifteen, he was able to continue his studies with a renowned scholar named Abu Nasr al-IsmaΚΎili in Jurgan, near the Caspian Sea. During his studies, he would take notes but not bother to understand or memorize the lessons. Once, while returning to his hometown of Tus from Jurgan, his group was attacked by bandits. When Al-Ghazali pleaded for them not to steal his school notebooks, the leader of the robbers mocked him. This incident made Al-Ghazali realize that t

Life Story of Mansur Al-Hallaj, the Notorious Sufi

Life Story  of Mansur Al-Hallaj, the Notorious Sufi  Mansur Al-Hallaj, born in 858 CE in South Iran, was a prominent figure in Islamic mysticism, known as Sufism. At a young age, he displayed exceptional dedication by memorizing the holy Quran before the age of 12. Al-Hallaj was a Sunni Muslim and received teachings from various sources, but his most influential teacher was Junaid of Baghdad. Al-Hallaj married the daughter of another Sufi, Yaqub bin Aqta, and the couple had three sons. However, his first mistake was openly teaching, preaching, and writing about Sufism. This led to him being disliked and even hated by other Sufis. Despite this opposition, Al-Hallaj managed to gather a considerable number of followers and made multiple pilgrimages to Mecca. His teachings were not well-received by the civil and religious authorities of the time. He faced accusations of aiding a group of political rebels known as the Zang Rebels. Al-Hallaj was also associated with miraculous incidents, s
