جب حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے 40 سال کی عمر میں اسلام کی تبلیغ شروع کی، تو آپ تنہا تھے۔ تین سال بعد، آپ کے ساتھ تقریباً 40 مسلمان تھے۔ پانچ سال بعد، آپ نے تقریباً 100 مسلمانوں کو حبشہ کی طرف ہجرت کروائی۔ 12 سال بعد، آپ تقریباً ڈیڑھ سو مسلمانوں کے ساتھ مدینہ کی طرف ہجرت کر گئے۔ 14 سال بعد، آپ نے تقریباً 300 مسلمان سپاہیوں کے ساتھ جنگِ بدر لڑی۔ 15 سال بعد، آپ نے ایک ہزار سپاہیوں کو جنگِ اُحد میں شامل کیا۔ 20 سال بعد، آپ نے تقریباً 10 ہزار مسلمان سپاہیوں کے ساتھ مکّہ فتح کیا۔ 22 سال بعد، آپ نے تقریباً 30 ہزار مسلمان سپاہیوں کے ساتھ جنگِ تبوک میں شرکت کی۔ حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر، آپ کے ساتھ تقریباً ڈیڑھ لاکھ مسلمان تھے۔ آج، دنیا میں تقریباً 200 کروڑ مسلمان موجود ہیں۔


اس سے یہ سبق ملتا ہے کہ بڑی کامیابی کے لیے بے حد محنت اور بہت زیادہ صبر کرنا پڑتی ہے۔
