What do you want , woman ?     [ A story by sahil Sharifdin Ëñglísh ]   '' What do you want , woman ? '' , a man asked .   The woman opened her mouth : I want my rights and freedom . When I am born , my parents become sad . I should be given the right to take birth . There are no schools for me . I should be given the right to attend school. There are more rules than the items of dress available for me . I should be left alone when it comes to put on and take off my clothes . I like some boys and some I dislike. I should be given the right to pick the boys of my choice and be in live-in relationships with them   . I will not appear again and again on this planet . This life is a one time chance . I should be given the right to drive . I should be given the right to vote .   I should be given the right to gossip . I should be saved from domestic , social , national and international violence.   I should be given the right to smoke and drink and nobody sho

My father and our strangely happy family by sahil Sharifdin English

My father and our strangely  happy family  [A bio sketch by sahil sharifdin English ]  My father never said ''I LOVE YOU '' to me . I don't remember any such occasion . He never ordered me to do any manual work inside or outside home. I don't know why ?  He never talked about the things in which I failed or succeeded. He never entered my room without knocking first. He never questioned my abilities or weaknesses. He financed me to obtain about half a dozen degrees in education. He himself has never been to colleges and universities.  Well , socially and economically, he may not be the world's best father . But , he is definitely one of the world's best fathers in case of love , care and unconditional support. I wish he would sometimes shout at me and rebuke me ! He is an angel . Whenever I delay sometimes to enter our kitchen for having tea , lunch or dinner , he brings the food  to my room. That makes me  feel the world's most shameless son. I wa

Atheism, suicide and hypocrisy

Atheism, suicide and hypocrisy [By sahil Sharifdin English] (Approximately 1000 words ) The boldest people believe mostly in self-help.   The ordinary people turn to pirs , gurus , black magic , religion , God etc when they fail or feel to fail   in acquiring love , respect , Job , health , peace , entertainment etc with their personal merit in the expensive market of the world.   The logical people turn away from pirs , gurus , black magic , religion , God etc after seeing no   immediate results from such practices and beliefs.   Everyone seems to be right at his own place but a true believer in God will be safe from suicide, immorality, depression and from practicing injustice as he/she   holds God responsible for anything good or bad happening to him/her.   On the contrary, a disbeliever in God holds himself/herself responsible for all his/her failures ,hence they fall in depression and commit suicide.        First stage of Atheism Atheism was considered ju
