ANOTHER FUNNY MEMORY

Once upon a time , I had an interview at Awantipora University [IUST ] for the post of university professor . I love to wear casuals but I wore a three piece suit on that day to look presentable . Many other candidates arrived there for the same purpose. The candidates were invited one by one into the interview chamber . I had studied a lot for that interview and was quite confident . I looked happy as if I had got selected . The other candidates were mumbling prayers or peeking at the notes they were carrying with them . A beautiful girl had brought her mom along . Her mother started talking with me —asking me about my residence, education , family etc . The girl felt embarrassed . She beckoned her mom with all her possible organs not to prolong the talk with this strange guy [me] as she had been there for the post of university professor , not looking for husbands. I perceived the curiosity on that mom's face and the uneasiness on that girl's face . I love to irritate very beautiful people. I continued the talking deliberately with that curious mom until I was called inside for the interview. Before I got up , I looked in the eyes of that beautiful-cum-uneasy girl and asked her to wish me good luck for the interview. She gave me a fierce look followed by a mischievous smile . Ah ! I wanted to stop and irritate her more but my unemployed legs dragged me ahead .
