1. To realise the value of one year ask a student who has failed in his examination.


2. To realise the value of one month ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.


3. To realise the value of one week ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.


4. To realise the value of one day ask a daily wage labourer.


5. To realise the value of one hour ask lovers waiting to meet.


6. To realise the value of one minute ask the person who has missed a train.


7. To realise the value of one second ask the person who has survived an accident.


8. To realise the value of a split second ask the person who has won the silver medal in the Olympics.


9. To realise the value of a heartbeat ask the one whose loved one is in an ICU.
